Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from All Roofing!

December 23, 2020

Santa Claus and his hard-working team of elves have been busy this year preparing presents to bring joy to adults and children alike this Christmas in 500 million households across the world. At this time of year people often reflect to ask themselves and others: what does it take to make the magic happen?

Mission control

Planning the logistics for safe and punctual delivery of all the presents is a major operation at Christmas HQ in the North Pole. When you calculate time zones, the international date line, and the variations in sunset/sunrise times between locations and latitudes Santa only has 42 hours from sundown on Christmas Eve to sunrise on Christmas Day to get the job done. Considering he has to travel across 25 million square miles of Earth’s habitable land – this is no small feat!

Santa and his Reindeer are monitored by the elves at mission control to keep tight reins on the timetable to ensure Santa accomplishes the following tasks:

  • Travel to each house
  • Depart his sleigh and enter the house undetected
  • Deliver all the presents
  • Eat any snacks left for him
  • And then leave the house undetected, mount the sleigh and leave for the next house

Safe landing for Santa and his Reindeer

The elves carry out a survey each year of all the roofs Santa has to land on to determine the type of roof and its condition to assist them with their planning. As you can imagine, it is mission critical for Santa and his Reindeer to land and take off as easily and smoothly as possible to stay on time and keep the presents safe from damage, not to mention Santa and his antlered helpers too!

Elves place flat roofs on mission control nice list

After detailed discussions of their survey results, elves agree that flat roofs provide the best conditions for Santa and his Reindeer to land on and take off from when delivering presents. There is no need to panic in case you don’t have a flat roof as there have been no reported problems for Santa’s sleigh or the Reindeer up to now! If you want to help Santa and his team next year, please contact All Roofing to survey your roof and make any necessary recommendations for improvements.

We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.
